2 accused of having forged documents
Heriberto Herrera Fuentas, 20, 572 Dawn Drive, No. 3, and Gregorio M. Vargas, 22, 572 Dawn Drive, No. 2, were arrested on suspicion of possessing forged documents Saturday night after deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department contacted them in the area of North Avenue and Morning Glory Lane.

Tire blowout on I-70 starts wildfire
A hot, blown tire from a vehicle on Interstate 70 on Friday night was blamed for starting a wildfire about nine miles south of the De Beque Canyon Tunnel, officials said Saturday.

Three accused of burglary
Michael Colarusso, Jermaine Derreele Turner and Robert Lancaster Gamble were arrested at 5 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of first-degree burglary, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department. Colarusso and Turner also were arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault in connection with an incident at 569 Eastmoor Drive. Additional information about the case was not available Sunday.
