(Almost) Wordless Wednesday
Snow is in the forecast, summer is but a memory …

Alex lost his head over his first car.

Dan lost his head and bought 10 acres of future home site.

I lost my head and ran a lot.

These cousins got together for a world-class water fight!

Rotary exchange students shared our home for a weekend. Javier from Chile and Ray from Taiwan.

We roasted and ate pigs …

…and boiled lobsters!

We survived the jungle,

the river,

and (barely) the trails of death!
All in all, it was a great summer!

Ah, summer. Yes, while I am looking forward to my first REAL ski season, I already miss the backpacking and the biking…sniffle. Goodbye backpack, until at least March when I take you to Grand Gulch!

Let’s figure out to do it even better next year. Now that you have acclimated to being without all of the modern amenities for more than one night, rafting the Middle Fork of the Salmon and sailing the Croatian Coast will do, for starters.

Dude Lynn-you should hold Dan to sailing the Croatian coast. Fer reals. I hear Drubrovnik is seriously awesome!

Dan, forget taking my precious daughter on a bareboat charter sail off the Croation coast. Now that I’m just starting to like you, don’t mess it up.
